He is a lover of Web 2.0 and author of e-Preneur: From Wall Street to Wiki and Entrepreneurial Excellence: Profit from the Best Ideas of the Experts.  He has focused on entrepreneurial strategy, finance and growth for over 20 years as a serial new venture founder, a strategic advisor to high-growth companies, a lawyer, a researcher, an author, an educator, and a professional public speaker.

He is the CEO of M & A Capital Corp., a boutique investment banking firm (www.MandACapital.com), and he is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship. He has written four books, edited four books, and written approximately 150 articles for diverse publications throughout the world, from leading academic journals to trade magazines and newspapers. 

Rick’s education includes the following: a PhD in entrepreneurship education from the Centre for Higher Education Research, Middlesex University, London, UK; a Masters of Law (LL.M.) from Columbia University, New York City; a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from McGill University, Montreal; and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Hons.) Doug is an insightful observer of Web 2.0 trends.  He has been actively been following the web since he first got dial-up and still claims to this day that he predicted the dot-com crash.

For recreation, Doug loves being active and has represented his country numerous occasions in international competition playing for Vollyball canada.

Michelle Sui - Michelle obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia in 2006 and was a Co-op Program graduate. She was previously employed as a Corporate Trainer with
Checkwell Decision Limited in Wales, United Kingdom where she was selected by the company to create and develop a training department. Michelle has also been involved with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation as a Community Educator and Tour Coordinator. With this experience, she organized and delivered breast health presentations to 24 high schools in the Lower Mainland and acted as Master of Ceremonies for event openings in 26 communities across British Columbia.
